Before10 to 12 hours overnight fasting required. Plain water is allowed — no tea, coffee or juice. Collection is usually done in the morning so the fast ends with your visit — our team confirms the arrival time when they call. Continue regular medicines unless your doctor says otherwise.
DuringOne blood draw plus a urine sample in a sterile container we provide. The whole visit takes about 10 minutes; a second short visit covers the post-meal sugar if advised.

Do I need to fast before the tests?

For sugar and lipid tests a 10–12 hour overnight fast gives accurate values. Water is fine. Book a 7–9 AM slot and you'll be having breakfast by the time the phlebotomist leaves.
