What is the Advanced Organ Function Package?

A comprehensive organ-function assessment covering blood, metabolic, kidney, liver, cardiovascular, pancreatic, thyroid and nutritional parameters, providing supportive information for routine health monitoring and appropriate clinical evaluation.

Key parameters

What this package looks at, in one visit:

119 tests
Blood & General Health
CBCProvides information about haemoglobin, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.
ESRA general marker that may increase with inflammation and requires interpretation alongside other findings.
Urine RMExamines urine physically, chemically and microscopically to provide information about urinary health.
Glucose & Metabolic Health
FBS & PPBSMeasure blood glucose in fasting and post-meal states.
HbA1cReflects average blood glucose levels over approximately the previous 2–3 months.
Insulin FBS/PPBSMeasures insulin levels in fasting and post-meal states, providing information about insulin regulation.
C-Peptide (Fasting)Provides information about the body's own insulin production.
Uric AcidMeasures blood uric acid levels and provides information about uric acid metabolism.
Kidney Function
S. CreatinineMeasures a waste product commonly used to assess kidney filtration.
eGFRProvides an estimated measure of kidney filtering capacity.
Blood UreaMeasures urea, a waste product commonly assessed as part of kidney-function evaluation.
BUNMeasures blood urea nitrogen and provides information related to nitrogen waste handling.
Urea/Creatinine RatioProvides an additional comparison of two kidney-related blood markers.
BUN/Creatinine RatioProvides an additional relationship between BUN and creatinine for clinical interpretation.
Urine MicroalbuminDetects small amounts of albumin in urine and provides information about kidney health.
Liver Function
SGPT/ALTMeasures a liver-associated enzyme that can provide information about liver-cell injury.
GGTMeasures a liver and bile-duct enzyme that can be affected by various liver and other conditions.
Total ProteinMeasures the overall amount of major proteins in the blood.
AlbuminMeasures the main blood protein involved in maintaining fluid balance and transporting substances.
GlobulinMeasures a group of proteins involved in immune and other body functions.
AG Ratio: Compares albumin with globulin levels and provides additional information about protein balance.
Electrolytes & Minerals
SodiumImportant for fluid balance, nerve function and muscle activity.
PotassiumEssential for normal nerve, muscle and heart function.
ChlorideHelps maintain fluid and acid-base balance.
CalciumImportant for bones, muscles, nerves and other body functions.
PhosphorousWorks with calcium in maintaining bones and supports cellular energy.
MagnesiumSupports normal muscle, nerve, bone and energy-related functions.
Cardiovascular Health
Lipid ProfileAssesses cholesterol and triglycerides and provides information relevant to cardiovascular health.
Apolipoprotein A1A major protein associated with HDL particles and provides additional information about lipid metabolism.
Apolipoprotein BA major protein associated with several potentially atherogenic lipoprotein particles and provides additional cardiovascular risk information.
Lipoprotein (a)A genetically influenced lipoprotein that may provide additional information about cardiovascular risk.
hs-Troponin IMeasures a heart-associated protein and is primarily used when assessing possible heart-muscle injury.
HomocysteineMeasures an amino acid that may provide additional cardiovascular risk information in appropriate clinical settings.
hs-CRPMeasures a sensitive marker of inflammation that may contribute to cardiovascular risk assessment when clinically appropriate.
NT-proBNPMeasures a substance released in response to increased cardiac wall stress and can provide supportive information about heart function when clinically indicated.
Pancreatic Function
AmylaseAn enzyme involved in digestion, particularly of carbohydrates, and can provide information relevant to pancreatic and other conditions.
LipaseAn enzyme involved in fat digestion and is particularly useful when evaluating possible pancreatic injury.
Thyroid & Autoimmune Thyroid Health
T3Measures a thyroid hormone involved in regulating metabolism.
T4Measures a major thyroid hormone involved in metabolism and energy-related processes.
TSHMeasures the hormone that regulates thyroid activity.
Anti-TPODetects antibodies associated with autoimmune thyroid conditions and should be interpreted with thyroid-function results and clinical findings.
Nutritional & Iron Status
Vitamin B12Important for normal blood-cell formation and nerve function.
Vitamin DProvides information about vitamin D status and bone and calcium metabolism.
IronMeasures circulating iron and contributes to assessment of iron status.
FerritinReflects stored iron levels and is interpreted alongside other iron studies.
Immune & Autoimmune-Related Parameters
RA (Rheumatoid Factor)Measures an antibody that may be associated with certain autoimmune conditions; a positive result does not by itself confirm rheumatoid arthritis.
IgE LevelMeasures total IgE, an antibody associated with allergic and certain immune responses; it does not identify a specific allergen by itself.
Selected Tumour-Associated & Reproductive Markers
Male
PSAProvides information relevant to prostate health.
Free PSAMeasures the unbound fraction of PSA and may provide additional information when interpreted alongside total PSA.
CEAA tumour-associated marker that can be elevated in certain cancers and non-cancerous conditions.
Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP)A protein used in selected clinical settings, including evaluation of certain liver and germ-cell conditions.
CA 19-9A tumour-associated marker that may be elevated in certain gastrointestinal and other conditions.
Beta-hCGA hormone used in selected reproductive and tumour-related clinical evaluations.
Female
CA-125A marker that may be elevated in various ovarian and non-ovarian conditions and is not diagnostic by itself.
CA 15-3A tumour-associated marker primarily used in selected breast-cancer monitoring situations rather than as a standalone screening test.
CEAA tumour-associated marker that can be elevated in certain cancers and non-cancerous conditions.
AFPUsed in selected clinical settings, including evaluation of certain liver and germ-cell conditions.
CA 19-9May be elevated in certain gastrointestinal and other conditions.
Beta-hCGA hormone used in pregnancy-related and selected tumour-related clinical evaluations.
